SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region, Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Chauk, Gangaw, Taunggu and Bawlakhae and (41°C) each in Kalewa, Kanbalu, Monywa, Kyemone, Magway, Aunglan and Hpa-an. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.19)inch each in Putao and Manchanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
