SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan, and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin and Mon States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk and (42°C) each in Myinmu, Nyaung Oo, Magway, Aunglan, Taunggu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.20)inch in Putao, (0.16)inch in Ramthlo and (0.12)inch in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
