SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperatures in Kachin and Kayah States and (2°C)above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Kayin and Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae and (40°C)each in Myinmu, Meiktila, Yamethin, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Pauk, Sinbyugyun, Ann, Pyay, Taunggu, Bago, Tharrawady, Gyobingauk, Hinthada and Ngathaichaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th March, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%).
