SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Kayin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C)in Chauk and (40°C)each in Shwekyin, Bawlakhae, Hpa-an, Kawkareik and Hlaingbwe.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th March, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight increase of day temperatures in Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions and Shan State.
