Heavy falls warning

- According to the observations at (15:30) hrs MST today, under the influence of the unstable air condition of the over central Bay of Bengal rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State with likelihood of regional heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Magway Region within next (48) hours commencing evening today.
- Under the influence of the unstable air condition, squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h to (40) m.p.h.
- So, trawlers, vessels and ships are advised to avert possible danger by unstable air condition.
