SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain have been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Shan(South and East), Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C)above February average temperatures in Mandalay and Bago Regions, Kayah State, (3°C)above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Magway Regions, Southern Shan State and (5°C)above February average temperature in Northern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha, (9°C)each in Heho, Tiddim and Mogoke and (10 °C)each in Putao, Pinlaung, Mongyang and Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th February, 2020: Rain will be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Shan States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Ayeyarwady Region, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy to cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
